The classes focus primarily on floor work. Participants develop the basics of technique while discovering new possibilities for their bodies, seeking fluidity, quality of movement, and flow. Familiar movement and rhythmic solutions are transferred from vertical work to the floor, which allows participants to learn how to respond to weight, momentum, continuity and pause, softness and dynamics.
Movement on the floor is treated multidimensionally — during joint training, attention is paid to directions, levels, and the space around oneself. An important element of the classes is building a sense of community through cooperation, observation, and mutual presence.
Group work is also transferred to individual experiences, supporting independent decisions and developing mindfulness and awareness in movement.
Duration: 90 minutes

Concept and management: Anita Sawicka-Abramowicz Partner: Studio Twarda 42
An artist with over 18 years of experience in dance, fascinated by movement in all its forms. Her beginnings in hip hop significantly influenced her perception of contemporary dance, which she treats as an inexhaustible field of possibilities rooted in the foundations of various styles. In her practice, she seeks new forms and solutions, exploring both the possibilities and limitations of the body. As a teacher and choreographer, she inspires dancers to be curious and mindful — in addition to technical training, she values movement intuition, constant change, and moments of surprise.
She conducts workshops in Poland and abroad. She is the creator of the POSZUKIWANIA (SEARCHES) project — workshops in contemporary dance, floorwork, and improvisation, focused on the quality of movement, body awareness, and the development of individual movement language. She has also co-created nationwide educational projects. She also works with movement in the medium of film. Her dance films, including Limitless (We Are) and You Wanted Rivers, have been presented and awarded at international film festivals.
She carries out various artistic and commercial projects as a dancer and choreographer—from theater productions and artistic residencies to collaborations on advertising campaigns.
