May Workshops
In a duet with a toddler
Dancing families
Workshops designed for families with young children, where bodies of different sizes and with different movement needs come together. During the sessions, participants will dance, roll, jump, crawl, spin, and climb together, discovering the joy of moving as a group. The sessions are based on three areas of dance practice—relationships, rhythm, and breath.

Here, dance is treated as a space for strengthening bonds and for active, shared play. Participants will learn from one another and find joy in discovering the possibilities of their own bodies.
Movement in rhythm and beyond it allows us to view everyday life as a series of simple, kinetic compositions, making use of what is available and close at hand. Another key element of the workshop is mindfulness of the body’s internal sensations—how the body breathes, and which forms of touch and movement bring pleasure and promote relaxation.

This series of sessions is designed for caregivers with children aged 6 months to 2 years. We encourage you to participate in the entire series, though it is also possible to attend individual sessions.

*Please purchase a ticket for each family member

*The session on May 19 will exceptionally take place at the Copernican Revolution Studio, 18 Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie St. (in the Fokusownia Room).
