's Fuga (Warsaw premiere)
Four dancers— , Stanisław Bulder, Olga Bury, Radosław Lis, and Gieorgij Puchalski —together with choreographer and conceptual artist Janusz Orlik and the Polish Cello Quartet, create a space where sound can be seen, movement can be heard, and the audience and performers intertwine into a single melody.

When the Polish Cello Quartet’s performance is accompanied by the movement of dancers seeking energy and tension within the polyphonic material, Bach’s music from three centuries ago and Zagajewski’s compositions find their embodiment. The performance allows one to experience *Die Kunst der Fuge* and contemporary arrangements for cello with multiple senses, feeling closeness, intensity, and intimacy. Movement becomes a visual reflection of the musical structure—repetition, counterpoints, and dialogues—manifesting itself in muscle tension, tremors, and the relationship between sound and gesture.

A discussion with the artists will follow the performance.

Since 2021, he has been collaborating with director Norbert Rakowski, creating choreographies for the performances "Top Secret Research," "Four Good Reasons to Give Up Everything," "I'm Nowhere/Disappearing," and "Autentik."

He is the author of a series of dance and movement workshops called Poruszeni (Moved), which took place in 2018 in collaboration with various institutions in Poland and were aimed at people who, for various reasons, found themselves in a situation of social exclusion.
Since 2021, he has been the artistic supervisor of the award-winning Klucz Theater operating at the Zamek Culture Center in Poznań. For the Klucz Theater, he created the performances Tranquillo, Intermezzo and Amoroso.

A cello quartet founded in 2011 on the initiative of Tomasz Darocha, Wojciech Fudala, Krzysztof Karpeta, and Adam Krzeszowiec. Since 2014, the artists have been working under the auspices of the Witold Lutosławski National Forum of Music.

One of the ensemble's most important projects is the Chopin Project – an innovative undertaking involving transcriptions of Fryderyk Chopin's works by Sabina Meck, Piotr Moss, and Leszek Kołodziejski. The unusual combination of four cellos brings out new tonal qualities and emphasizes the special role of this instrument in the composer's work.

The PCQ's repertoire includes both original works and contemporary compositions by Polish and foreign composers. The ensemble performs regularly in Poland and abroad and is considered one of the most active Polish chamber ensembles.
