RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE IN-PERSON SALE OF ADMISSION TICKETS to the Dance and Other Performing Arts Pavilion / effective May 1, 2026 /
§ 1 Glossary The terms used in these rules shall have the following meanings: Pavilion – Branch of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw – Pavilion on the Vistula, located in Warsaw (00-390) at 22 Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie Street Museum – Seller, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw – Pavilion on the Vistula, with its registered office in Warsaw (00-124), at 3 Pańska Street, entered in the register of cultural institutions maintained by the Capital City of Warsaw under No. RIK 1/2023, REGON: 140187435, NIP: 525-234-18-32; Terms and Conditions – These Terms and Conditions for the in-person sale of admission tickets to the Pavilion of Dance and Other Performing Arts—a branch of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw—the Pavilion on the Vistula, located at 22 Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie Street in Warsaw Buyer – a natural person (including a consumer), a legal entity, or an organizational unit without legal personality that uses the System; Ticket – an admission ticket entitling the holder to attend a specific event organized by the Pavilion; Event – performances, shows, workshops, meetings, courses, discussions, or other artistic and cultural events organized by the Pavilion or by another entity in collaboration with the Pavilion;
§ 2 General Provisions 1. These Rules and Regulations set forth the guidelines for the in-person sale of admission tickets to the Museum.
§3 Tickets 1. Ticket prices and eligibility for discounts are specified in the Pavilion’s price list, available at https://pawilontanca.pl/bilety. 2. Ticket prices are listed in Polish zlotys and include VAT. 3. The system allows you to purchase selected tickets from the Pavilion's price list. 4. The ticket's expiration date is indicated on the ticket. 5. The ticket may be presented in paper form or on a mobile device. 6. To use a ticket, present it to a Pavilion staff member at the entrance to the event for which the ticket was purchased. 7. Visitors who have purchased discounted tickets must present the documents proving their eligibility for the discount to Pavilion staff on the day of their visit, along with their tickets. 8. Discounted tickets presented without documentation proving eligibility for the discount will not be accepted and are non-refundable. In such cases, depending on the Buyer’s decision, the Pavilion reserves the right to deny the Buyer admission to the event or to charge an additional fee up to the price of a regular ticket. 9. Due to health and safety regulations, the Pavilion reserves the right to set admission limits to the Pavilion during specific time periods and to sell Tickets in hourly time slots. 10. The Buyer should arrive at the Pavilion on time, in accordance with the start time of their hourly time slot. 11. A purchased ticket grants one-time admission to the event covered by that ticket.
§4 Buy a ticket 1. Payments at the Cashier's Desk can be made in cash or by credit or debit card. 2. In the event of payment by credit or debit card, the Museum is not liable for any interruptions in payment processing.
§5 Reservations
Industry and employee tickets can be reserved for certain Pavilion events for which tickets are available for purchase.
Reservations can be made by email at bilety@pawilontanca.pl. A reservation is considered valid once it has been confirmed by the Pavilion staff member processing the reservation.
If you would like to receive a VAT invoice, please inform a Pavilion employee before making the payment
Reservations must be finalized—that is, the reserved tickets must be paid for and picked up at the box office no later than 60 minutes before the start of the event.
§6 Complaints 1. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the purchase and fulfillment of Tickets should be sent by email to kontakt@pawilontanca.pl or in writing to the Seller’s registered office at ul. Pańska 3, 00-124 Warsaw 2. In the complaint, the Buyer should provide: a) the reference number of the order to which the complaint relates, b) the reason for the complaint, along with a description of it; c) contact information.
3. Complaints will be reviewed by the Seller within 14 days of receipt. Pawilon will notify the Customer of the outcome of the complaint via the email address or mailing address provided by the Customer. 4. If a complaint is not resolved within the time limit specified in paragraph 3 above, the complaint shall be deemed accepted. 5. If the complaint is upheld, the Customer is entitled to a replacement ticket or a refund of the amount paid. The refund will be issued via bank transfer to the account specified by the Buyer. 6. The Pavilion is not liable for improperly filed complaints, in particular for the Buyer providing incorrect or false information.
§6 Returns 1. Refunds or exchanges of Pavilion Tickets (except as provided in paragraphs 3 and 4 below) purchased at the Pavilion ticket office, regardless of the reason for the refund or exchange, may be made no later than 72 hours before the start of the Event, during the Pavilion’s business hours. To do so, the Purchaser should send the Ticket purchase confirmation and the Tickets received electronically from the Pavilion to the email address bilety@pawilontanca.pl. 2. Refunds or exchanges for group tickets purchased at the Pavilion ticket office—regardless of the reason for the refund or exchange—may be made no later than seven days before the date of the Event, during the Pavilion’s business hours. To do so, the Buyer should send the Ticket purchase confirmation and the Tickets received electronically from the Pavilion to the email address kontakt@pawilontanca.pl. 3. Cancellation of the contract and a refund are possible only if the ticket has not been used. 4. Refunds will be issued via bank transfer to the account from which the tickets were paid for or to an account specified by the Buyer. The Pavilion is not liable for any incorrect or false information provided by the Buyer. 5. The Pavilion reserves the right to make changes to the program and to cancel Events. 6. In the event that an Event is canceled, the Pavilion agrees to notify the Buyers of this fact. 7. In the event that a given Event is canceled or the Pavilion makes changes to the program, the Purchaser is entitled to a refund for the purchased Ticket, in accordance with the terms specified in the notice published by the Pavilion on its website or sent by the Museum to the Purchaser’s email address. 8. To request a refund for Tickets purchased through the Website in the event that a given Event is canceled or Pawilon makes changes to the program, the Purchaser should send the Ticket purchase confirmation and the Tickets received electronically from Pawilon to the email address bilety@pawilontanca.pl.
§7 Rules for Participating in Events 1. The ticket is a document entitling the bearer to attend the Event. 2. The ticket may be used only once and is subject to a one-time verification upon entry to the Event. 3. The Pavilion assumes no liability for any damage to, loss of, or destruction of a purchased ticket. 4. Attendees who have purchased discounted tickets are required to present a valid document entitling them to the discount during ticket verification. The Pavilion may deny admission to the Event to any ticket holder who does not have a valid document entitling them to the discount. 5. The Pavilion reserves the right to deny admission to the Event to any latecomer. Whenever possible, and if the nature of the event permits, latecomers will be admitted to the auditorium; however, the Pavilion does not guarantee the latecomer a seat directly in the audience. Whenever possible, a latecomer will be admitted to the auditorium; however, the Pavilion does not guarantee the Spectator the seat indicated on their ticket. The Spectator will be asked to take a vacant seat designated by the Pavilion’s Spectator Services staff. 6. Recording (filming, audio recording, photography) is prohibited during the Events. 7. The use of cell phones is prohibited during the Events. Spectators are asked to turn off their cell phones. 8. It is strictly prohibited to bring beverages into the Pavilion’s auditorium. 98. It is prohibited to bring beverages into the Pavilion or to consume food or beverages in the auditorium. 109. Smoking cigarettes, tobacco, and other tobacco products is prohibited on the Pavilion grounds, except in areas specifically designated for that purpose. 110. The Pavilion reserves the right to change the program at any time, without providing a reason. In the event of a change, the Pavilion will announce the rules for ticket refunds or exchanges.
§8 Disclosure Statement The controller of personal data is the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, located at ul. Pańska 3, 00-124 Warsaw. The controller can be contacted via email at iod@artmuseum.pl or in writing at the address of its registered office indicated above. The controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer The data will be processed solely for purposes related to the performance of the contract for the sale of goods, including order fulfillment, issuing accounting documents, handling complaints, and financial reporting. The legal basis for data processing is the taking of steps necessary to enter into and perform a sales contract, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation—hereinafter referred to as the GDPR). Personal data may be disclosed only to entities through which the Seller fulfills the order (courier companies), to the extent necessary for that purpose. The collected data may be transferred to entities that process personal data on behalf of the Museum, including, among others, entities that operate IT systems related to the operation of the Store and the preparation of financial reports—provided that such entities process the data under a contract with the Seller and strictly in accordance with the Seller’s instructions. Personal data will be retained for the duration of the contract and for a period following its termination for the following purposes: pursuing claims related to the performance of the contract, fulfilling legal obligations, including in particular tax and accounting obligations, preventing abuse and fraud, and archiving, for a maximum period of 7 years from the date of termination of the contract, unless separate regulations require us to act otherwise. Every individual has the right to: access their data and receive a copy of it, request that it be corrected, or request that its processing be restricted. Every individual also has the right to data portability, i.e., the right to receive their personal data from the Seller in a commonly used electronic format, which can be transmitted to another data controller as needed. To exercise the above rights, please contact the Seller. Every person also has the right to file a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office. §9 Final Provisions In matters not covered by these Terms and Conditions, the relevant provisions of law shall apply. During their visit to the Pavilion, visitors are required to comply with the Rules and Regulations for the Pavilion of Dance and Other Performing Arts, which are available on the premises; failure to do so will result in being asked to leave the Pavilion without the right to a refund of the ticket price. These terms and conditions apply to the sale of single-entry tickets listed in the price lists for events organized by the Pavilion. The Pavilion reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, provided that the version of the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of ticket purchase is binding on the Parties.
Price List for the Warsaw Branch of the Museum of Modern Art – Pavilion on the Vistula PAVILION OF DANCE AND OTHER PERFORMING ARTS
1. The following admission prices have been set for events organized by the Dance and Performing Arts Pavilion:
1. Ticket for an assistant to a person with a disability: 1 zł 2. Pricing for other events at the Dance and Performing Arts Pavilion is determined on a case-by-case basis. 3. The Pavilion of Dance and Other Performing Arts (Museum) is authorized to establish separate rules for ticket reservations and sales for selected Events or to introduce new types of tickets. 4. The following system of discounts and reduced rates applies at the Dance and Performing Arts Pavilion: Reduced-price admission to events (upon presentation of valid identification) is available to:
students in the public school system, college students, graduate students, and students at social work colleges;
people over the age of 65, retirees, disability pensioners, recipients of social assistance, people with disabilities, and veterans;
teachers at schools and educational institutions, juvenile detention centers, and shelters for minors;
individuals who have been awarded the “For the Preservation of Historical Monuments” badge, the “Distinguished Cultural Activist” honorary badge, the “Distinguished for Polish Culture” honorary badge, or the honorary title “Distinguished for National Culture,”
other persons listed in Article 10(3a) of the Act of November 21, 1996, on Museums (Journal of Laws of 2019, item 917).
Warsaw Resident Card With the Warsaw Resident Card, you receive a 10% discount off the regular ticket price, With the Young Warsaw Resident Card, you’re eligible for an additional 10% discount off the reduced-price ticket.
Large Family Card With the Large Family Card, all family members covered by the card are entitled to a 50% discount on the reduced-rate and/or regular ticket price.
National Senior Card With the National Senior Citizen Card, you are entitled to a 10% discount on reduced-price tickets for events organized by Pawilon; this discount does not apply to events co-organized with other entities.
