A glam rock party for kids and their grown-ups!
“Rock me Baby” combines dance, theater, and live music in a glittering world of sequins and big hair. With humor and bold costumes, it playfully challenges gender norms and invites people of all ages to move, listen, and have fun together. Following its success on European stages, “Rock me Baby” is coming to Poland for the first time and will be presented in Warsaw!
What happens when glam rock meets contemporary dance and dance theater—and the audience consists of babies, toddlers, and their adults?
Rock Me Baby is a colorful and energetic show for children aged 0–5 and their adults, where live music, movement, and glitz come together in a joyful sensory experience. Five performers take the stage as a band and invite the audience into a playful world of sparkling costumes, rock riffs, and poetic soundscapes.
The show draws inspiration from 70s and 80s glam rock and hair rock, combining catchy pop with heavy guitar riffs in a dynamic live concert—tailored even for the youngest audience members. Thanks to adjusted volume levels and a safe atmosphere, both children and adults can move freely, listen, laugh, or simply soak up the show.
Rock Me Baby also expands the concept of gender with humor and flair. The show asks what art for the youngest audience members can be—and proves that it can be loud, dazzling, meaningful, and fun.
At the Pavilion of Dance and Other Performing Arts, the performance will be presented as part of the MULTIGENERATIONALITY: Beyond the Norm series, which showcases the presence of diverse generations on stage and in the audience and promotes policies of care and support.
