Closeness in Motion – an hour-long celebration of relationships
DANCING FAMILIES
An invitation to move together – without judgment, pressure, or rushing, with curiosity, freedom, and an element of fun. The workshop creates a space where children and adults can experience how the body supports building relationships with oneself and others.

The classes offer exercises that strengthen the bond between the child and the parent or caregiver, tools for nonverbal communication based on movement and physical contact, as well as activities that develop trust, a sense of security, creativity, and motor skills in participants.

During the workshop, participants will move, play, and improvise—running, jumping, rolling, breathing, laughing, and sometimes falling and getting up again—in an atmosphere of freedom, joy, and acceptance.
An important element of the practice is the conscious use of good touch – safe, attentive, and respectful physical contact that supports the child's development and deepens the relationship between the child and the caregiver.

The workshop from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.is intended for families with children aged 2-7.

The workshop from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. is intended for families with children aged 7-12.

Yuliya Dzichkouskaya
Psychologist, psychotherapist, and performer exploring movement as a space for relating to oneself and others. She is a co-founder of the Bliskość w Ruchu (Closeness in Movement) collective, where she conducts somatic-movement workshops that support bonding, trust, and emotional regulation through movement.

For over a decade, she has been developing the practice of contact improvisation, treating it as a form of communication, free expression, and a tool for personal development. In her work, she combines psychotherapy with creative methods of working with the body and imagination, seeking greater lightness, authenticity, and inner balance.

She conducts psychoeducational lectures and workshops on building mental resilience, mental hygiene, coping with stress, and environmental demands. She is the co-author of the podcast "Schodami do Siebie – podcast o życiu DDA" (Stairs to Yourself – a podcast about the life of an ACoA). In her practice, she emphasizes the importance of body-mind integration and the regenerative role of contact with nature and dance.
