Sculpted in motion
DANCING FAMILIES
The workshop offers the opportunity to experience sculpting in motion—that is, combining physical expression with the process of shaping a material form through playing with clay.

Participants will explore movement and contact with the material, using natural creative actions such as kneading, pressing, modeling, rolling, and reshaping the clay.

During the session, there will also be time for free play with clay and exploring its texture through full-body contact—you can weigh it, carry it, shape it, run on it, jump on it, or leave body imprints in the soft material. The workshop emphasizes freedom of expression, the joy of movement, and creative exploration.

The workshop from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM is intended for families with children aged 4+.

The workshop from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM is intended for families with children aged 4+, including children with intellectual disabilities, neurodivergence, and autism spectrum disorders.

Paulina Giwer-Kowalewska
A graduate of the Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków, Department of Dance Theatre in Bytom. Together with Aniela Kokosza, she co-runs the Kolekttacz Association, which operates at the intersection of dance, theater, and performance.

For nearly ten years, she has been creating and performing in shows for young audiences and families, presented at numerous festivals in Poland and abroad. Her upcoming artistic projects include, among others, “blisko,” “Frajda Granda Bzik,” “Tu mieszkamy,” and “Kuuki.”

She regards work for young audiences as particularly valuable—as a source of artistic satisfaction and a space for building relationships with audiences through mindfulness and gratitude.

For many years, she has been leading her own movement workshops. In her practice, she promotes the idea of collective celebration through movement, encouraging work in spaces that are as simple and open as possible, fostering authenticity, spontaneity, and the natural need to move. She views celebration through movement as one of the fundamental methods for regulating emotions and counteracting social overload and chaos.
