How can we remain serious without taking ourselves too seriously?
Using rhythm, attentive listening, and spontaneity in movement and performance, participants will collectively create a space where absurd, surprising, and illogical situations can emerge. The workshop will take the form of a game based on free, seemingly random associations that will become a source of humor and inspiration. The exercises will encourage participants to embrace creative freedom, experiment, and find joy in working together and constantly subverting established patterns.

COMPANY
Concept and Host: Piet Defranq
Piet Defrancq studied at the Royal Ballet School in Antwerp (Belgium) and at the French Center for Contemporary Dance in Angers (France), from which he graduated in 2005. Since then, he has collaborated with internationally renowned choreographers such as Emilio Calcagno, Olivier Dubois, and Jan Fabre.
Since December 2013, he has been performing in Jan Martens’s production *The Dog Days Are Over*. He has participated in choreographic productions presented in many countries, including Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, and Germany.
In recent years, he has also performed in Jan Fabre’s productions: *The Power of Theatrical Madness* (2012–2015), *This Is Theater Like It Was to Be Expected and Foreseen* (2012–2016), and *Mount Olympus. To Glorify the Cult of Tragedy* (2015–2017), as well as in Arno Schuitemaker’s *The Way You Sound Tonight*. In 2019, he performed in *WEG*, choreographed by Ayelen Parolin.
